Telegram is a hugely popular messenger application. It is completely free and cross platform. If you are an active Telegram then you might want to make it available on your Ubuntu PC. Luckily, Telegram has an official desktop client for Linux which works well.

Let’s see how to install Telegram Desktop on your Ubuntu PC.

It’s very easy and straight-forward. Open your Ubuntu Software app and search for Telegram Desktop. Click on the Install button and you are done. The Telegram will be installed instantly.

The other way to install Telegram Desktop is to download file directly from the Official Telegram website.
