Inkscape is considered one of the most popular free and open-source software for graphic design and illustrations. It has so many features and is an alternative for premium software such as Adobe illustrator. Let’s see how to install Inkscape on your Ubuntu PC.

Firstly, open your terminal. You can launch the terminal easily with the keyboard shortcut ctrl + alt + T. Now, execute the following commands given below.

sudo add-apt-repository
sudo apt update
sudo apt install inkscape

This will install the latest stable version of Inkscape on your Ubuntu PC.

If you are not comfortable with this then you can look for alternative options from their official website.

I am a fan of Ubuntu and I love all popular free and open source softwares. I wish everyone should try and support open source projects.
